Hi, my name is Silvio Ribeiro, I am a husband, a father, an aspiring Visual Basic programmer and photography is what I could do everyday without complaining or getting bored.
I have been interested in photography since 1990, but only in 2006 I bought a camera worth talking about, and most recently I bought my first DSLR (Canon T3i).
I enjoy taking pictures of anything, but I have never made a penny doing it. I guess it’s what some people call hobby.
A few years back discovered HDR (High Dynamic Range), and I have been playing around with it since then, but unlike a lot of people, I see HDR as a solution to a problem, and I use it just to capture the lightest and darkest areas of an image where my camera usually can’t. I don’t like overdone, “cartoon like” HDR, I prefer to create realistic HDR images, but it doesn’t mean that I haven’t created images that don’t look so real, sometimes, in my opinion they turn out attractive: sample here.
I’m the kind of person who’s always looking for ways to improve anything, at work, at home and everywhere.
Recently I started playing around with WordPress, and have since then created a couple websites. One of them is mchomerepairs.com, which I have been constantly updating for the past few months.
Most of what you’ll see here will be photos that I take, I will occasionally embed a video from another website if I find it really interesting.
